For the past eight years, Blue Ridge Communications has partnered with various nonprofit organizations within its service area to support its annual Spread The Warmth community initiative.

This important campaign aims to provide much needed children’s winter clothing, such as coats, hats, scarves and gloves at no cost to families in need.

This year, Blue Ridge pledged to donate a winter coat when customers added or upgraded their internet service.

This initiative reflects Blue Ridge’s commitment to providing meaningful connections to the communities it serves. Since 2018, this community impact initiative has continued to grow each year.

“This year’s Spread the Warmth initiative exceeded all expectations, and we couldn’t be more thankful for the incredible support from our customers, community partners and employees who make this effort successful year after year,” said Mark Masenheimer, VP of Operations at Blue Ridge.

“In addition to donating over 1000 new coats, we were proud to provide monetary contributions of over $5,000 to charities throughout our service area.
