State police at Lehighton

State police at the Lehighton barracks reported the following incidents:

• A 25-year-old Brodheadsville man is facing charges of driving under the influence of a controlled substance after police made a traffic stop at 7:22 p.m. Dec. 20.

He was stopped in a 2015 Infiniti for a Motor Vehicle Code violation on Marion Lane, Chestnuthill Township.

• A 38-year-old man from Cheltenham is facing illegal gun charges after police responded to a suspicious vehicle report at 6:09 p.m. Dec. 19 at Oak and Sander streets, Bowmanstown.

Police said he was found to be in possession of a firearm, after which police determined he was prohibited from possession of a firearm.

• Police were called to a burglary on Dec. 19 in Main Street, Parryville.

A 33-year-old man from Palmerton said the burglary occurred between midnight Dec. 17 and midnight Dec. 19. No other information on the incident was provided by police.

• Police were summoned to a theft of services incident in which a Polk Township firm had $60,621.75 in currency stolen from it.

They said the incident occurred at 12:07 p.m. Dec. 4 on Brandywine Circle, Upper Macungie Township.

Police did not provide any additional information on the incident.
