Joy to the World almost didn’t happen. Jesus Mary and Joseph were illegals. King Herod’s version of ICE murdered hundreds of babies. Until Modern Times, the massacre was celebrated as The Feast of the Holy Innocence, now it’s called Christmas.

Is Herod the role model for America’s wannabe king? Jesus warned, “Beware of false prophets who come dressed as sheep, but are predatory wolves.” Millions of proud Americas talk the Christian talk convinced they can BS God.

Is Trump a snake in the Tree of Forbidden Fruit anointed by God to give us a choice? The sign of the dollar has replaced the sign of the cross. Pride the deadliest sin has replaced Christian humility.

Fake believers hope for the second coming. When Jesus comes he’ll be carrying a big stick. When the phony baloney’s go to hell, the devil will cut off their tongues, for taking God’s holy name in vain by calling themselves Christians.

Pontius Pilate asked Jesus, “What is truth” and the Son of God remained silent. Some things we understand or don’t. If we understand no explanation is necessary. If we don’t no explanation is possible.

The mob that cheered for Jesus’ murder wanted to make the Holy Land Holy again. Jesus was found illegal and crucified legally. What does equal justice under the law mean when corrupt predators make those laws?

We can’t teach what we don’t know. Jesus wasn’t a politician. Christianity isn’t a political party and GOP doesn’t spell GOD! Christianity is a personal relationship with God.

Christians should be careful if they find themselves comfortable in one party or the other. Christians are called to love without boundaries, and certainly beyond political allegiances.

The demon is that every political party disguises itself as the Holy Ghost. The GOP is not yet the Christian Party, but many white Protestant Christians don’t see an alternative. Democrats have not welcomed Christians with open arms.

If the GOP is only a political home for lily white Christians, it’s harder to question ICE’s merciless abuse of immigrants and Trumps political opponents. That’s a far cry from Gospel Truth.
