The 2025 Pennsylvania Writers’ All-State Football Teams were announced Tuesday morning and eight players — including six from the Class 3 state runner-up Northwestern team — from the Times News area were selected.

Tigers that were honored on the Class 3A team were Shane Leh (quarterback), Braxton Lakatosh (running back), Brady Zimmerman (wide receiver), Colton Popp (offensive lineman), Shane Hulmes (linebacker) and Michael Lagowy (defensive back).

In addition to the Northwestern players, Palmerton’s Logan Anthony (offensive lineman) also made the 3A team.

In Class 1A, Marian Rory Dixon was named as a defensive back.
