Savitri G. Undercuffler, 48, of Palmerton, was uninjured when the vehicle she was driving struck a deer on Route 93 in Hazle Township, state police at the Hazleton barracks said.

Police said she was southbound in a 2016 Audi Q5 at 8:40 p.m. on Dec. 12 when the incident occurred, resulting in the vehicle sustaining damage that required it to be towed from the scene.
