Customers and staff at Papa Al’s Ristorante in the 300 block of Deleware Avenue in Palmerton were evacuated Sunday afternoon due to a gas leak. The alarm came in around 3 p.m. for the smell of gas in the structure. Palmerton fire officials ordered the evacuation along with Palmerton police. UGI gas crews were on scene.
