State police at Troop M, Bethlehem, have announced its Christmas and New Year’s holiday enforcement detail will be in effect on roads within its coverage area of Lehigh, Northampton and Bucks counties.

The Christmas enforcement period will begin at 12:01 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 24, and run until 12:59 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 28, while the New Year’s enforcement period will begin at 12:01 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 31, and conclude at 11:59 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 4.
