Christmas shines brightest in the traditions we cherish and the memories we share with the people we love. For many of us, the ornaments on our trees aren’t just decorations — they’re reminders of milestones, family moments and holidays we’ll never forget.
What’s the ornament (or ornaments) you treasure most? Whether it’s handmade, passed down through generations or picked up on a special trip, we want to hear the story behind it.
It might be something that documents an achievement, or something you collect. We’d love to see photos.
We’ll publish as many as we can in our Christmas Eve edition.
Send your photo and story to tneditor@tnonline.com by Monday. Include your name, town and contact information.
We also want to see photos of your trees and light displays. Are you lighting up your neighborhood?
Shine your light with photos and a description and the stories tied to them at tneditor@tnonline.com.
This penguin given to Times News editor Marta Gouger combines two loves: penguins and tea, making it a cherished ornament.
