Walker Township will not have an increase in property taxes in 2026. The budget was approved at a meeting earlier this month.

The Department of Conservation and Natural Resources grant money for the township park renovation has been used and the park has been completed.

Wildcat Park improvements were to the basketball courts, tennis courts, pickle ball courts and playground apparatus, including a swing set. Park improvements meet all ADA accessibility guidelines.

At $56,000, the grant covered just over half the price of the sole bid of $106,866.48.

UCC permits have been approved for local cell tower improvements and upgrades.

Improvements and upgrades have been completed.
