December 16, 1986 — Tom Kresge pours in a game-high 27 points and Lehighton races to a big lead en route to a 93-47 Centennial League victory over visiting Pleasant Valley. Matt Schaeffer collects eight of his 10 points in the opening quarter and Kresge adds six as the Indians gain a seven-point advantage. The margin swells to 20 points (43-23) by halftime as Scott Kulp nets 10 of his 22 points in the frame. The winners, coached by Jim Smith, also receive 10 points from John Armbruster and eight from Bill David. For the Bears, Shawn Hackman ends with a team-high 19 points.
