Letter to the editor: The AP — Appalling Propogandists
Have you ever wondered why the AP (Appalling Propogandists) capitalizes the letter “b” in the word black while it uses a lowercase letter “w” in the word white when making reference to the race of individuals in AP articles? I did. And I found out why.
It has to do with what’s called the “AP Stylebook.” The AP in 2020 adopted a new “race-related coverage entry” in the Stylebook which was nothing more than a raw antiwhite racist policy statement. Not only is it the AP’s official in-house policy today, but every other news organization under contract with the AP is obligated to follow the Stylebook — including our own Times News.
A guy by the name of John Daniszewski, who was AP vice-president for standards in 2020, wrote a Stylebook document for worldwide distribution titled “WHY WE WILL LOWERCASE WHITE.” What he wrote in that document was as surprisingly candid as it was chillingly racist. Mr. Daniszewski made no attempt at subtlety or impartiality in his “race-related coverage” edict. He clearly meant to belittle whites, but his new policy insulted everyone regardless of race or ethnicity. Here’s his introduction to the document:
“AP Style will continue to lowercase the term white in racial, ethnic and cultural senses. This decision follows our move last month to capitalize Black in such uses.”
What followed was 12 pages of tortured reasoning for the AP’s assault on white people. It was disgusting reading and made my blood boil. Everyone should read his manifesto dated July 20, 2020; it’s an eye-opening venture into the dead soul of the AP.
I just read a column on the opinion page authored by Julie Pace, AP’s executive editor. She wrote about the AP’s current lawsuit against President Donald Trump over AP access to the White House. Everything she claimed the AP to be in that article couldn’t be further from the truth.
President Donald Trump has rightfully called out The Associated Press (Appalling Propogandists) for what it is — a discredited group of far-left racist partisans posing as a legitimate and unbiased news organization.
