One person was injured Thursday afternoon when involved in a multi-vehicle crash in Penn Forest Township. The crash occurred around 2:30 p.m. along Route 903 near the intersection with Maury Road. It is believed heavy drifting of snow caused by high winds on the roadway contributed to the incident. One female had to be extricated from her car after suffering a leg injury. Fire companies from Penn Forest and Jim Thorpe responded to the scene with their fire police maintaining traffic control. State police at Lehighton are investigating the incident.
