Northern Lehigh graduate Trevor Amorim scored another touchdown for Kutztown University during its latest playoff victory in the NCAA Division 2 playoffs.

The former Bulldog and Golden Bear senior snared a 10-yard scoring toss from quarterback Judd Novak in the third quarter this past Saturday that extended Kutztown’s lead from 28-23 against Frotsburg State to 35-23.

The Bears went on to claim a 51-29 win to advance to the national semifinals.

Amorim caught two passes in the game for 27 yards, and also ran the ball once for 11 yards. This season, the Nolehi product has 29 receptions for 423 yards and seven touchdowns. He also has four rushing attempts for 61 yards.

Kutztown will host Harding in this Saturday’s NCAA semifinal. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
