Towamensing Township supervisors conducted the following business this month:
• Supervisor Guy Seifert noted that the enormous flag outside the fire company has disappeared. Unfortunately, there was nothing caught on camera.
• Supervisor Scott Mosier was reelected to the board of supervisors.
• The Towamensing Township Fire Company reported 92 calls for the month of November. All of the officers were reelected. The president will remain Eric George, Evan Stevenson as vice president, Ryan Snyder as fire chief and Robert O’Donnell as assistant chief.
• The supervisors had discussion about taking care of Parryville’s garbage as it will be losing its garbage services at the end of the year. No decisions were made. The Beltzville Lake Estates garbage agreement was signed.
• Lakeside Investments Condominiums received approval for a letter from the township that the plan does not need to be reviewed by the township for GIS mapping to certify the parcel number. GIF, Geographic Information System, displays data in a visual format.
• The end of the year board of supervisors meeting will take place on Dec. 30 at 3 p.m.
