State police at the Fogelsville barracks reported the following crashes:
• A 44-year-old woman from Danielsville is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol after the vehicle she was driving a struck a state police vehicle in a construction zone on Interstate 78 in Weisenberg Township at 11:32 p.m. Nov. 5. No one was injured in the crash.
Police said the woman was driving a 2023 Hyundai Palisade westbound when it traveled into a close right lane that was “coned off” due to the construction work.
They said the vehicle struck the driver’s side mirror of a 2023 Dodge Durango state police vehicle operated by Raymond B. Schemerhorn, 53, of Breinigsville, who was legally parked with the emergency lights of the vehicle activated.
Police said the woman continued to travel westbound on the interstate as the Hyundai hit several cones designating the lane closure, as well as a sign indicating the New Smithville exit, where the vehicle came to a halt.
• Damien T. Sherry, 20, of New Tripoli, was cited for failure to drive at a safe speed after a one-vehicle crash at 5:09 a.m. Dec. 3 on Herber Road, Lowhill Township. He was uninjured in the incident.
Police said he was driving a 2001 Chevrolet Cavalier eastbound when he lost control of it. The vehicle slid off the roadway and struck a tree.
