December 11, 1974 — Four Slatington girls reach double-digit scoring to help gain a 58-40 victory over visiting Northwestern. Nicknamed “Kemmerer’s Clan” after head coach Mary Kemmerer, the winners jump out to a 17-9 lead after one quarter and extend the advantage to 15 points by halftime. Tami Schneck paces the host squad with 15 points, while Jodi Henritzy follows close behind with 14. Slatington also receives 11 from Deb Marlatt and 10 from Kim Neff. For the Tigers, Vicki Korbordo tallies a team-high 14 points.
