Three longstanding members of the Jim Thorpe National Bank family were honored during a program held in the lobby of the bank’s main branch in Jim Thorpe.
The program featured the unveiling of hand-painted portraits of each of them painted by Geri Gardiner of Summit Hill.
Two of the honorees are members of the bank’s board of directors, Nathan Melber and Vernon Ralston Jones, and the third is John Cherb, a longtime employee of the bank.
Bank President Craig Zurn said the honorees “represent the spirit and legacy of community banking, and the tradition and values of families have been the foundation of the bank’s continued success.”
