Tamaqua police said they charged Matthew Sims, 19, of Coaldale, with harassment after he allegedly pushed a woman at their residence.

Police were dispatched to a domestic dispute on West Phillips Street at 1:44 p.m. Dec. 4 and spoke to a 50-year-old woman, who reported that Sims had pushed her.

She said that she fell and hit her arm on a table. Police said she wanted Sims removed from the home and wanted to press charges.

Sims admitted to pushing the woman after she tried to take a phone from him, police said.
