Two people were charged last week in Monroe County with possession/intent to deliver methamphetamine.
Pocono Mountain Regional Police Department conducted a traffic stop at 1:50 a.m. Dec. 2 on a 2015 Subaru Legacy on Kuhenbeaker Road in Blakeslee.
The operator of the vehicle was identified as Erik R. Boehm, 46, of Catasauqua, and the passenger was identified as Samantha L. Kuntz, 36, of Lehighton.
Police said officers observed indications of criminal activity.
A police K-9 was deployed around the exterior of the vehicle and alerted to the presence of narcotics.
A search warrant was obtained for the vehicle by police.
A search of the Subaru yielded a pound of methamphetamine in a plastic bag, another half-pound of methamphetamine in a plastic bag, an electronic scale with methamphetamine residue, and a small amount of marijuana, according to police.
Boehm and Kuntz were each charged with possession with intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance, possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, as well as summary traffic violations.
