Lower Towamensing Township supervisors took the following action on Tuesday:

• Approved 85 cents per hour raises for the township secretary-treasurer, road foreman, and public works employee.

• Will advertise a draft alarm ordinance for penalties on nuisance calls for more than two in any given 365-day period.

• Will send a letter of support for Abigail Kuhn’s Girl Scout Award letter for her project to construct a billboard and a raised flower bed by the nature trail at Stoney Ridge Park.

• Approved the certification list for the Aquashicola Fire Company and Palmerton Fire Company.

• Agreed to reimburse the township’s tax collector $158 for the cost of laptop repairs.

• The board’s reorganization meeting will be held at 4 p.m. Jan. 5.
