CYO hosts annual student bowling competition

The District 5 CYO (Catholic Youth Organization) held its annual Bowling Competition for students from Kindergarten through 6th grade. The event was held on a recent Saturday at Fritz Lanes, 2nd & South Streets, Lehighton.

Students from Ss Peter & Paul Parish, Lehighton; St John Neuman Regional School, Palmerton/Slatington; and St. Jerome Regional School, Tamaqua; enjoyed an afternoon of bowling.

The Rev. Christopher Zelonis, pastor at Ss Peter & Paul, bowled the first ball of the day. The event was led by Phil Liszka, District 5 CYO Commissioner for the Diocese of Allentown, and CYO Coordinator for Ss Peter & Paul Church, Lehighton.
