State police at the Stroudsburg barracks released results of a sobriety checkpoint that they conducted through the Thanksgiving holiday period.

From Nov. 26-30, police made contact with 122 motorists, which resulted in:

• Nine arrests being made for driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance.

• 31 traffic citations and 20 traffic warnings being issued for violations of the Motor Vehicle Code.
