Camelback Resort in Tannersville will kick off the holiday season with its annual Christmas tree Lighting celebration on Friday.

This free family-friendly event will take place from 7 to 9 p.m., and also include festive live entertainment, children’s activities, a hot cocoa bar and delightful holiday treats.

Santa and Mrs. Claus will make a grand entrance, accompanied by their cheerful elves and special guests from the Pocono Township Fire Department. Together, they will light the resort’s spectacular Christmas tree, officially welcoming the magic of the season.

The event is being held to celebrate the start of the holiday season and support Toys for Tots of Monroe County, spreading joy to children and families throughout the region.

In partnership with Toys for Tots of Monroe County, guests are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy valued between $10 and $30. Each donor will receive a complimentary custom reindeer pillowcase keepsake while supplies last.
