A 26-year-old Lehighton woman is facing drug possession charges after police made a traffic stop at 2:47 a.m. Oct. 4.

State police at the Fogelsville barracks said the woman was stopped in a 2022 Jeep Compass on Interstate 78 in Allentown.

Police said they suspected her to being impaired by marijuana and in possession of THC vape products and suspected marijuana.

The police report did not indicate whether she is facing charges of driving under the influence of a controlled substance.
