Entertainment around the area
Rock & Roll Hall of Fame performers lead the post-Thanksgiving entertainment highlights set for local and regional venues over the next two weeks.
Wind Creek Event Center welcomes R&B/soul legend Gladys Knight, a 1996 rock hall inductee, and singer-songwriter Lou Gramm, a 2024 inductee as a member of rock band Foreigner. Gramm, former Foreigner frontman, will join the current lineup for select songs as part of the group’s 4 Deluxe Tour.
For fans of old-school R&B/soul craving more after Knight’s gig, Kalahari Resorts & Conventions will host the Maurice Watts Annual Classic R&B Music Festival.
Three acts, meanwhile, return with annual holiday shows: Ryan Pelton at Penn’s Peak, Twelve Twenty-Four at Mauch Chunk Opera House and Toolshed Jack at Tamaqua Community Arts Center.
