One injured in Clamtown Hill crash

One person was injured this morning in a crash in East Brunswick Township. The crash occurred around 8 a.m. along Route 443 on the Clamtown Hill. The unit was traveling west at the time the driver lost control. Emergency personnel discovered an oil slick on the roadway leading into the accident scene for several miles if that was the cause of the crash. The victim was treated at the scene by members of the Penn Mahoning ambulance before being transported to a nearby trauma center. Area fire police and firefighters maintained traffic control at the scene shutting down the roadway. State police at Frackville are investigating the incident.
