Two people were injured Tuesday morning in Franklin Township in a head-on collision on Route 248. The crash occurred around 10 a.m. in the west bound lanes at the State Road intersection. The crash involved a pickup truck and a car, both receiving heavy front end damage. The victims were treated at the scene by Lehighton paramedics before being transported to a nearby trauma center.
