Lansford Public Works will be picking up piles of leaves every Monday, weather permitting.
Senior Center
The Panther Valley Senior Center announced the menu from Nov. 25 through Dec. 5.
Tuesday: Potato Soup, Chicken Cordon Bleu, Peas, Melon or Chef Salad with Turkey
Wednesday: Stuffed Pepper, Mashed Potatoes, Carrots, Yogurt or Bologna and Cheese Sandwich
Thursday and Friday: Center closed in observance of Thanksgiving.
Dec. 1: Lemon Fish, Scalloped Potatoes, Carrots, Pears or Turkey and Cheese Sandwich
Dec. 2: Pork, Sweet Potatoes, Wax Beans, Fruit Salad or BBQ Chicken Salad
Dec. 3: BBQ Beef Brisket Sandwich, Corn, Cole Slaw, Melon or Greek Salad
Dec. 4: Hawaiian Chicken, Brown Rice, Vegetable Blend, Pound Cake or Meatloaf Sandwich
Dec. 5: Squash Soup, Cheeseburger, Potato Wedges, Orange or Chicken Sandwich
The center has also announced the following upcoming events:
Kitchen Bingo at 10:45 a.m. on Nov. 25; Game Day on Nov. 26; Center Closed on Nov. 27 and 28.
Christmas Decorating and Games at 10 a.m. on Dec. 1; Bingo at 10:45 a.m. on Dec. 2; Po-Keeno at 11 a.m. on Dec. 3; Devoted Health will be here to do Bingo at 11 a.m. on Dec. 4; and Win, Lose or Draw at 11 a.m. on Dec. 5.
Cards, Pool, Games, available daily from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. New members are welcome.

Golden Agers
The Panther Valley Golden Agers will hold its Christmas luncheon on Dec. 15 at Two Kings Restaurant in Hometown.
