Carbon County personnel report
The Carbon County Commissioners acted on or acknowledged several employment changes in various departments during the month of November.
It is noted that no positions were new, but were all previously established positions, with vacancies due to someone leaving county service. Carbon County continues to remain on a hiring freeze for new positions.
Nov. 6
Prison board appointment: Dawson J. Billig of Germansville, part-time corrections officer, effective Nov. 3.
• Hires: Christopher W. Andreoni of Weatherly, part-time K-9 officer, animal shelter, effective Nov. 7; Darryl L. Cunfer of Summit Hill, operations/maintenance director, buildings and grounds, effective Nov. 17; Laurie L. Huselton of Jim Thorpe, part-time clerk, archives, effective Nov. 12; Daniel R. Keiser and Megan L. Veen, both of Lehighton, 911 operators, effective Nov. 17 and 10 respectively.
• Courts resignations: Aimee L. Shank of Weissport, secretary I, Jim Thorpe district judge, effective Nov. 14.
• Courts appointments: Robert J. Cazonie of Minersville, probation officer I; and Tracy M. Stewart of Lehighton, specialist I, both juvenile court, effective Nov. 10.
• Courts change of status: Chloe M. Copertino of Milford, from county caseworker I, children and youth, to probation officer I, juvenile court, effective Nov. 3; Colin T. Frost of Allentown, from probation officer I pretrial services to probation officer I, adult probation, effective Aug. 1; and Kelsey D. Massar of Tamaqua, from probation officer I, juvenile court, to domestic relations officer I, effective Nov. 3.
• District attorney change of status: Nicholas W. Rosahac of Jim Thorpe, from temporary part-time legal intern to full-time assistant district attorney 2, effective Oct. 27.
