Pleasant Valley Personnel Report
The Pleasant Valley School Board approved the following personnel items Thursday evening:
• Change to current assignment — Chandra Gonzalez, food service employee, PVIS, time change, effective Nov. 3, replaced Hilary Corbi; Sherri Sprague, food service employee, PVES, time change, replaced Alicia Granville-Fernandez; and Karl Cabral, custodian, PVES, time change, effective Nov. 24.
• Hiring of administrative/administrative support staff — Van Scott Sr., assistant chief of police, $75,348, effective Nov. 24, replaced Brian Silliman.
• Hiring of after-school program teachers and paraprofessionals — Francesca McCutchan, teacher, $46 per hour.
• Hiring of support staff — Amanda DeSerio, monitor, PVES, $12.11 per hour, effective Dec. 3, replaced Sherri Sprague (resigned); Kathleen Franklin, school board recorder, administration, stipend $250 per meeting, effective Dec. 1, replaced Debra Duff.
• Intramural advisers — If intramural runs nine weeks and a total of 54 hours, then the instructor gets paid a stipend of $1,275. If the intramural runs less than 54 hours, then the instructor gets paid $21 per hour. — PVHS and PVMS indoor field hockey: Corin Owermohle, Joelle McKeever, Cory McKeever and Lauren Black, split stipend co-adviser; football — weight lifting: Blaec Saeger.
• Resignations — Kyle Seeger, long-term substitute industrial teacher, PVMS, effective Oct. 31; James Russi, custodian, PVES, effective Nov. 3; and Debra Duff, school board recorder, administration, effective Nov. 30; Kyra Unterberg, paraprofessional, PVMS, effective Nov. 12.
• Retirement — Roberta McMaster, sixth grade English as a second language teacher, PVMS, effective Jan. 7.
• Supplemental contracts: athletic — Kaj Weeks, track and field, varsity assistant, $4,711.
• Supplemental contracts: athletic non-coaching — Winter varsity workers, $45 per event: Jamie Hyde, Vanessa Fego, Rachel Borger, Paul Nembhard and Julie Burchfield.
• Supplemental contracts: nonathletic — Ryan Connell, Jennifer O’Keefe, Alison Rundle, April Rice and Carlene Altemose, detention monitors, PVIS, $28 per hour; and William Mattei, after school tutoring, PVHS, $46 per hour.
• Volunteers — Stephanie Foust, Linda Reborchick, Gregory DePaoil, Victoria Swenson, Karen Voulo.
