$25,000 raised for Tamaqua food pantries
Smiles are all around as members of the Tamaqua Hunger Campaign planning team meet with representatives of the community’s four food pantries to distribute more than $25,000 in donations. The monthlong community campaign included a variety of activities and fundraisers. This was the 14th year for the campaign started by Paul Dodson as a project of a small group at Bethany Evangelical Congregational Church in Tamaqua. The Tamaqua Area Faith Fellowship Network now coordinates the project under the umbrella of the Tamaqua Area Community Partnership.
