Walnutport Police recently were at the Walnutport McDonald’s for “Coffee with A Cop.”
Walnutport Police Chief Jason Nothstein said, “It gave us a chance to get to know our community and for the community to know us. It was a big success.” Children received coupons for various McDonald food items, stickers, sunglasses, and miscellaneous items from McDonald’s.
Walnutport Police Chief Jason Nothstein reminds the community that the Walnutport Police Department will once again be participating in the No Shave November fundraising event.
For the entire month of November and December, officers will be growing out a beard to raise money for charity.
“Every participating officer will make a donation. All of our donations will be collected, and we will be presenting the total dollar amount.” Nothstein said.
“We have already chosen a local family that are struggling to make ends meet due to an unexpected illness that happened to a family member.”
If anybody would like to generously donate, contact the police department at 610-767-1134 or email jnothstein@walnutportpolice.org.
