Mahoning Township residents won’t have to shell out any extra money to pay their municipal taxes next year.

Supervisors unanimously agreed on Wednesday to advertise the 2026 proposed budget with no tax increase.

If approved, that would leave the millage rate unchanged at 7.75 mills.

Of that, the tax rate for general purposes would remain at 6 mills; fire protection services, .5 mills; road machinery purposes, .5 mills; and building and land purposes, .75 mills.
