A Veterans Day ceremony was held Tuesday outside the Tamaqua Area High School. Organized by high school and middle school students and faculty, the event honored local veterans for their service. It included a flag-raising ceremony, patriotic music, readings by student leaders and performances by the high school music ensembles.
