Fall cleanup is underway in Rush Township.
Township crews began collecting leaves and branches from residents this week.
Leaves should be raked to the curbside where they will be removed by the township’s leaf vacuum. Branches should also be place near the curb, should be bundled and be no more than 6 inches in diameter.
“We give them to the farmers and they plow it into their fields,” Leibensperger said.
Township workers are not following any set route, so residents are asked to be patient.
