The Tamaqua Police Department released its October activities report for Coaldale Borough, which it covers.

During the month, officers were dispatched to 125 calls and filed 73 reports.

Police issued 43 violations on vehicles, with five moved by owners and 11 towed. There were five traffic citations, three criminal arrests and two non-traffic citations.
