A club dedicated to helping the community honored area veterans during the Carbon County Veterans Day ceremony with funds to keep a program running. On Monday the Notre Dame Club of Schuylkill County presented Christine LeClair, director of the Carbon County Veterans Affairs office, with a check for $4,200 to be used for Together with Veterans NEPA. Stephanie McCarroll, president of the Notre Dame Club of Schuylkill County, presented the donation as part of the annual county Veterans Day program. The money the club presented to Carbon County was the proceeds from the group’s annual golf tournament.
