State Farm Insurance agents help to fight hunger

Two State Farm agents from Carbon County put the company’s motto into practice.

Kevin Kendall, of Albrightsville, and Tim Williams, of Lehighton, demonstrated being good neighbors by donating $2,000 to support local organizations working to fight hunger.

The donation includes $1,000 to the Trinity Food Pantry in Lehighton and $1,000 to the Ebenezer Evangelical Congregational Church in Jim Thorpe, both of which provide vital food assistance to families and individuals across the county.

“We’re honored to support local food programs that help ensure no family in Carbon County goes hungry,” the press release said. “As State Farm agents, we believe in being Good Neighbors — giving back to the communities where we live and work.”

Demonstrating their continued commitment to helping neighbors in need, the $2,000 contribution is part of a broader regional initiative in which State Farm agents across Northeastern Pennsylvania have collectively donated $33,000 to food banks and nonprofit organizations serving seven counties.

By combining resources and community spirit, the agents continue to make a lasting difference by providing not only protection through insurance and financial services, but also hope and support to those who need it most.
