State police at Fern Ridge
State police at the Fern Ridge barracks reported the following incidents:
• Police were called to a criminal trespass incident report at 2:50 p.m. Oct. 27 on Parkside Avenue, Tobyhanna Township.
The victim is a 48-year-old woman from Albrightsville.
• Police were called to a property on Rocky Hill Road, East Side Borough, for a report of an unconscious man at 11:57 a.m. Sept. 24.
They said an 82-year-old man from White Haven was pronounced dead. Police said their criminal investigation unit is investigating.
• Police are investigating a ChildLine report they received about an incident that was reported to have occurred on Darcy Drive, Chestnuthill Township.
They said the report contends a 16-year-old girl from Saylorsburg is the victim is a statutory rape/sexual assault that occurred at 1 p.m. Sept. 7 at that location.
• A second ChildLine report alleges a 3-year-old girl from Stroudsburg is the victim of a case of endangerment.
Police said the incident occurred at 2:26 p.m. Oct. 2 on Twin Lake Road, Jackson Township.
• In a third ChildLine report police received, they are asked to investigate a suspected physical abuse incident in which two children from Effort, an 11-year-old girl and a 13-year-old-boy, are the victims.
Police said the report alleges the incident occurred on Woodcrest Avenue, Chestnuthill Township, resulting in bodily injury to the victims.
• A 61-year-old man from Denville, New Jersey, was arrested for driving under the influence after police were called to Route 715, Jackson Township, at 10:04 p.m. Sept. 12.
Police said they were called there to assist emergency medical services personnel after the man fell off an electric bicycle.
They said he refused a medical services transport from the scene.
