“From High School to College – The Recruiting Journey,” a recruiting seminar for the student athlete desiring to play at the collegiate level, will be held at 6 p.m. today at the Tamaqua Area School District’s Athletic Center.

Tim Neiman, head baseball coach at DeSales University, and John Byrne, head softball coach at Moravian University, will lead the program to assist parents and student athletes in the process of recruiting. The goal is to provide them a blueprint for success and remove some of the anxiety associated with making the college decision and finding the right fit.

Although it is primarily geared toward softball and baseball, all parents and guardians, coaches and student athletes are invited.

It is free of charge and no registration is necessary.
