All four incumbents on the Palmerton Area School District board of directors lead the way for another term following Tuesday’s release of unofficial general election results from the Carbon County Election Office.
Stacey Connell, Erin Snyder, Earl Paules and Danielle Paules each appear poised for new four-year terms, while Magin Gursky leads voting for a two-year seat, pending write-in tallies.
Connell, who cross-filed on both party ballots, led the field with 2,217 votes, followed by Snyder with 2,050, Danielle Paules with 1,845 and Earl Paules with 1,804. Democrat Michael George finished just behind Earl with 1,782 votes, while 406 write-ins were recorded in the race.
In the separate contest for a two-year term, Gursky, a Republican, received 2,313 votes. There were 521 write-ins.
