Carbon County Area Agency on Aging PA MEDI program is holding its annual Medicare open enrollment sessions.

To schedule an appointment, call the agency at 1-800-441-1315. Dates and times are subject to change. Sessions are held at the following locations:

• Lehighton Senior Center: 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Nov. 10, 17 and 24; and Dec. 1. (243 S. Eighth St.)

• Weatherly Senior Center: 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Nov. 25. (335 Third St.)

• Panther Valley Public Library: 9 a.m.-noon. Nov. 5, 7, 12, 14, 19, 21, 26 and 28; and Dec. 3 and 5. (117 E. Bertsch St., Lansford.)

• Jim Thorpe/Penn Kidder Senior Center: 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Nov. 5 and 19 and Dec. 3. (995 State Route 903, Jim Thorpe.)

• Palmerton Library: 10:15 a.m.-3:15 p.m. Nov. 6, 13 and 20; and Dec. 4. (402 Delaware Ave.)

Medicare annual enrollment will be open through Dec. 7.

The PA Medicare Education and Decision Insight program is a free health insurance counseling program designed to help older Pennsylvanians with understanding and making changes to Medicare health plans.
