Former Northern Lehigh standout Cody Mazzocca will continue his wrestling career at Kutztown University, joining one of the top NCAA Division II programs in the country.
Mazzocca capped his high school career by capturing the District 11 Class 2A 121-pound championship last season and qualifying for the Southeast Regional Tournament. He also earned the Colonial League title at 121 pounds earlier in the year, helping to anchor a strong Bulldogs lineup.
Kutztown, led by reigning Super Region 1 Coach of the Year Robert Fisher, is coming off a historic 2024-25 campaign. The Golden Bears went 11-1 in duals, finished third at the Super Region 1 Championships, and placed eighth at the NCAA Division II National Championships — the best national finish in program history. KU also produced four All-Americans and enters the 2025-26 season ranked seventh nationally by the National Wrestling Coaches Association.
Mazzocca is one of 29 wrestlers who will represent Kutztown this season as the Golden Bears look to continue their rise among the Division II elite.
