Pleasant Valley contracts

The Pleasant Valley School Board approved the following contracts during their meeting on Oct. 23:

• Colonial Intermediate Unit #20, small group job coaching services for a PVSD for several students at $42.29 per hour: students #6 and 8, 247.5 hours, up to $10,466.78; student #7, 82.5 hours, $3,488.93; student #4-2, 255 hours, $10,783.95;

• CIU20 — One-on-One job coaching services for student #9, $42.29 per hour, 247.5 hours, $10,466.78;

• CIU20 — One-on-one services for student #10, $44,027.51;

• Board certified behavior analyst to be paid with a Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency grant, $250 per hour, up to 40 hours between Oct. 1 and Dec. 31;

• BrainPOP Jr. PVE schoolwide subscription from Jan. 9, 2026, to Jan. 8, 2027. Total cost is $2,737.48 to be paid from Title I, and

• Creature and Character Assembly and Book Reading at PVE on Feb. 27, 2026. Total cost is $1,500 to be paid from Title I;

• Stroudsmoor Country Inn — Top 10 Dinner on May 26, 2026, at a cost of $58.95 per person;

• ESS Northeast — Addendum substitute nurse and health room technicians, up to $209.60 per day, per substitute;

• Purchase of PVMS Para and Life Skills furniture — Nine paraprofessional lecterns and a Life Skills desk for PVMS from Premier Environments, $8,698.86 to be paid from Capital Reserve;

• Purchase of PVIS administration furniture — Two administrator lecterns for from Premier Environments, $1,607.04 to be paid from Capital Reserve;

• Motion to approve CHA Consulting to proceed with the design and bidding of the HVAC classroom upgrades at PVMS in accordance with the existing retainer agreement. HVAC classroom upgrades to be paid from Capital Reserves;

• Purchase of three IT servers — HPE servers for PVES, PVIS and PVMS from IntegraOne, $40,833.50, a Costars contract;

• Mobile Ed Productions Addendum — Two additional showings for Nov. 6, 2025. at an additional $200 to be paid from Title I;

• MTI Production contract for PVMS musical — Pure Imagination, $770;

• Metz Amusements and Concessions — Dunk tank rental for Bonfire Carnival on Oct. 9, $256.48;

• Seymour Mac Productions — Renovation video documentation, $18,900, cost to be split between CHA Partnership, St Luke’s Partnership and General Fund.
