Former Northwestern Lehigh star Eli Zimmerman is already showcasing his offensive versatility for the Bloomsburg University football team as just a freshman for the Division 2 program.

Zimmerman is third on the team in rushing yards (204) and is second in rushing touchdowns with four. Zimmerman is a threat in other areas for the Huskies as well, as he has one catch for 31 yards, 21 punt return yards, and is their leading kickoff returner with 347 yards (averaging 27 yards a return), including a 41-yard return — the longest by a Bloomsburg player this season.

After eight games, Zimmerman has over 600 all-purpose yards.
