Entertainment for everyone
Rocker John Fogerty leads the next two weeks’ slate of entertainment hitting local and regional venues.
The Rock & Roll Hall of Famer — lead singer/guitarist, producer and songwriter for Creedence Clearwater Revival from 1959 to the band’s dissolution in 1972 — will play Wind Creek Event Center.
Fogerty released his latest solo album, featuring re-recordings of CCR material, in August.
Rock also comes to the Peak, courtesy of FireHouse, George Lynch & The Mob, and Joe Russo’s Almost Dead. Mauch Chunk Opera House also hosts rock acts, with the likes of Parker Barrow, Cinema Stereo and Moon City Masters set to perform.
In the retro-film world, The Mahoning Drive-In Theater hosts its final film event of the season. Chelcie Lynn and Paul Reiser, meanwhile, bring their brands of comedy to the Sherman Theater.
