State police at Frackville

State police at the Frackville barracks reported the following incidents:

• Hope McManus, 38, of Mahanoy City, is facing drug possession charges after police made a traffic stop at 8:54 a.m. Oct. 22 on Interstate 81 northbound in Mahanoy Township.

Police said she was stopped in a 2003 Mercury Mountaineer for a traffic violation, after which police found her to be in possession of methamphetamines, which they seized.

• A 62-year-old man from New Ringgold reported that he is the victim of a $9,000 theft that occurred at 4:07 p.m. Oct. 22 on Mountain Road, Blythe Township.

He told police an acquaintance of his removed 90 $100 bills from his residence.

Police said a suspect has been identified and the investigation is continuing.

• A 46-year-old Allentown man is facing charges of driving under the influence after police made a traffic stop at 1:20 a.m. Oct. 25.

He was stopped in a 2014 Chevrolet Corvette in the 500 block of West Penn Pike, West Penn Township.

• A 25-year-old Tamaqua man is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol after police made a traffic stop at 11:54 p.m. Oct. 26.

He was stopped in a 2016 Volkswagen on Union Street in Blythe Township.
