October 29, 2007 — Steve Clemson turns a low snap on an extra point kick attempt into a game-winning two-point conversion to lift Tamaqua to a 29-28 overtime victory over Minersville. After the Miners breaks a tie in OT with a touchdown and the PAT, the Raiders get into the end zone on a 4-yard pass from Ryan Palsgrove to Caleb Shilko on fourth down. Attempting the tie the game, kicker Clemson instead picks up a low snap and tosses the ball to the end zone and Grif Griffiths to gain the win. Palsgrove finishes with 176 passing yards and three touchdowns, with 121 of the yards and two of the scores going to Shilko. Tamaqua, coached by Sam Bonner, also receives a TD run from Travers Schmidt, who adds 16 tackles on defense.
