Young, young at heart enjoy Halloween at Mrs. Bush’s

Mrs. Bush’s Personal Care Homes’ annual Halloween Fest in Kunkletown is one place where kids know they can find candy and seasonal fun.

For this time of year, Mrs. Bush’s transforms into a fun Halloween haunt with festive, warm autumn touches.

In droves, over 60 children came out Sunday afternoon to play games like corn hole, receive treats, have soft drinks and other beverages, mingle, enjoy music and have “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” playing in the background for all to enjoy.

Children of all ages and adults were costumed, including the staff and chaperones of the trick or treaters, who happily greeted the residents.

“It makes us and the kids so happy.” resident Audrey Regen said as she handed out candy to the children.

The “monster mash” mash-up of children, caretakers, adults, senior residents of a certain age, babies and even dogs visiting the personal care homes in costume came together for family fun, bringing the spirit of the season to the community.
