State police at Lehighton

State police at the Lehighton barracks reported the following incidents:

• A 19-year-old Germansville man is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance after police made a traffic stop at 2:57 a.m. Oct. 2.

He was stopped in a Mercedes-Benz for multiple violations of Title 75 on Interchange Road in Franklin Township.

• A 19-year-old man from Oviedo, Florida, is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance after police made a traffic stop at 2:45 a.m. Oct. 5.

He was stopped in a Honda Civic for violations of Title 75 on Interchange Road in Franklin Township.

• Police were called to a criminal mischief incident that occurred between Oct. 3 and 8 on Brook Road, Polk Township.

The victim is an 80-year-old man from Nazareth.

Police said it was reported that a 2001 Nissan Pathfinder parked in the driveway of the abandoned residence. They later determined the glass of an exterior door on the residence was damaged. The damage was estimated at $1,000.

• Police were called to a criminal mischief incident at 2:15 a.m. Oct. 13. They did not indicate the location of the incident.

Police said an unidentified group of about five people took garbage receptacles belonging to the victim from the street and threw them in the victim’s backyard.
